Aesthetic Doctor, Leeds – Dr. G Hall

What is your role at Medifine?

I am an experienced G.P in North Leeds as well as the medical director within Medifine Aesthetics. I trained with Pri-Med facial aesthetics in November 2008 and gained advanced accreditation in 2009.  The overall aim of our business is to provide a high quality cosmetic service and ensure all medical procedures are carried out to the highest standards.

What is your top treatment recommendation?

IV Vitamin Drips – modern day food is often modified and over processed, leaving many of us deficient in essential nutrients. Vitamins, minerals and amino acids are classified as essential nutrients and there are times in our life when boosting levels can be very beneficial. One effective method of doing this is having an intravenous drip. More than 1 in 3 people take daily supplements yet few people realize that the body’s natural absorption process can render up to 85% of a vitamin supplements useless. With Intravenous Nutrition the nutrients enter the bloodstream directly and immediately. Much higher concentrations of nutrients are delivered directly to the body’s cells through intravenous therapy, allowing the body to better absorb and utilize these nutrients.

What skin care product is your top recommendation?

Daily sun protection. The sun is one of the most ageing external elements the skin is exposed to; even when the sun is not visible we are still subjected to low levels of UV rays.  Long-term UV exposure can lead to skin damage (reduced skin elasticity and a degradation of skin texture) seen as wrinkles/fine lines and hyperpigmentation (brown spots). All adding to the ageing process, so for clients that want to help slow down skin ageing I recommend a daily sun protection of SPF30 minimum.
These are my top product recommendations:

  • Osmosis Protect SPF 30
  • IS Clinical Extreme Protect
  • ZO Daily Sheer SPF 50
