What is your role at Medifine?
As the facial therapist, I carry out all the facial treatments, resurfacing treatments and skin care consultations at the clinic. I have a real passion for analysing and treating skin conditions as a whole, looking at both e ternal and internal influences. I trained in facials and skincare gaining an NVQ Level 2 & 3; I will soon start my training in Dermarollering and NVQ Level 4 which will enable me to offer more advanced skincare treatments.
What is your top treatment recommendation?
I highly recommend a resurfacing treatment to my clients; these are an upgrade from the facial treatments and really leave the skin glowing. It deeply exfoliates the skin and in doing so encourages cellular turnover, improves texture, tone and appearance, restores hydration and helps improve anti-ageing concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles and thickened texture. This is a real pick me up for your skin.
What skin care product would be your top recommendation?
Vitamin A (retinol) – Vitamin A has been clinically proven to improve fine wrinkles associated with natural ageing. It’s an antioxidant, and can interrupt the free-radical damage process that causes skin to look and appear older. This action helps prevent wrinkles and increase collagen production. Other benefits include helping to manage acne and eczema, as well as improving discolourations and wrinkles from sun damage.
