A corrective treatment serum with biological proteins and growth factors secreted from patented umbilical cord lining stem cells. This lightweight, fast absorbing, serum can be used daily to boost surface skin cell activity or can be used during at-home microneedling treatments to enhance the penetration and collagen boosting benefits.

Why is the Professional Serum pink?

The Professional Serum uses a pH indicator to monitor the state of its active growth factors and proteins. Because of its high concentration of biologically-derived active ingredient, it is important that the conditions remain optimal for these active factors to thrive. While a range of colors reflects that the acidity level is acceptable – from light/dark pink to orange – you should not use the product if it turns yellow or becomes cloudy.

 

The Science

 

Calecim Professional Serum is brought to you from the scientists at Cell Research Corp in Singapore, who first discovered that stems cells were present on the umbilical cord lining. Calecim Professional Serum contains 80% stem cell bio-chemical messengers from cord lining stem cells to communicate directly with both epidermal and dermal skin cells to behave in a youthful manner. Thousands of skin growth factors and skin proteins, such as soluble collagen and hyaluronic acid, support healthy skin behaviour, resulting in firmer, fuller, more luminous skin.

 

These stem cells are ethically harvested from free range grazing Red Deer in New Zealand. Following the birth of a fawn, the umbilical cord (considered as birthing waste) is collected and the stem cells extracted to be grown within the Cell Research Corp science lab.

 

The Calecim Cord Lining Conditioned Media, contained within the serum, directs “youth messages” in the form of powerful growth factors to help activate the proteins responsible for hydrating and firming the skin. These messages will also aid in re-building the skin’s structural layers while continually renewing the epidermis, making it a great natural alternative to Retinol skin products.

When Used After Clinical Procedures:

  • Apply to treatment area and press firmly into the skin with a gloved hand to ensure penetration. Use half to one full ampoule per treatment depending on area and degree of ablation.
  • Continued usage at home is recommended. Number of days of post-treatment application should be advised by your physician.

When Used at Home as a Skin Booster:

  • Ensure skin is clean and free of any oily residue. A mild skin exfoliation before application might improve absorption of the product.
  • Use one pipette-full of Serum for the whole face. Apply a few drops on each facial zone and press into the skin. One ampoule holds approximately 10 pipettes of Serum.
  • Can be used AM / PM. Apply your regular moisturizer / treatment creams such as Multi-Action Cream and / or Restorative Hydration Cream after.
